Deploying a CI/CD Pipeline with a Managed Deployment Stage using AWS CDK

Why it matters

Repeatable application deployment supports the approved architecture work in 1.1.6. This exercise gives you practice defining environment infrastructure alongside an application pipeline.

What to practise

Create a build-and-test pipeline and a test report, then extend it to push a Docker container to Amazon ECR. Define test and production infrastructure with AWS CDK and add deployment stages, including a manual stage. Watch the test results in the report.

How it fits

This is general container deployment practice. For GenAI workloads, focus on 1.1.6’s use of CDK to express repeatable infrastructure.
