Deploying and managing Infrastructure as Code

Why it matters

An approved infrastructure template needs a way to track deployed resources and detect configuration differences. This exercise supports the CloudFormation part of 1.1.6’s repeatable GenAI architecture work.

What to practise

Use Application Composer to update a deployed CloudFormation template. Create a Resource Group and add tags to track infrastructure assets. Run CloudFormation drift detection and inspect the differences between resource configurations and the template.

How it fits

This is general infrastructure management practice. For a GenAI workload, focus on maintaining the infrastructure definition and checking its deployed configuration, the CloudFormation foundation of 1.1.6.
