Create functions using AWS SDK for Python with Amazon Bedrock API

Completed by opening the official lab

Why it matters

A model choice can move behind a contract only once the model call lives in a function of its own. This exercise builds that function with the AWS SDK for Python and puts Amazon Bedrock beside another AWS AI service.

What to practise

Set up a Bedrock development environment in a Jupyter notebook and invoke models with Boto3. Wrap one invocation in a parameterized function, generate text and images with Amazon Titan, and add an analysis check with Amazon Rekognition. Watch which parts of the call the function’s parameters expose and which stay fixed inside it.

How it fits

For 1.2, the parameterized function is a small form of the split 1.2.3 makes between a model-specific interface and application behaviour, without its AppConfig routing. For 2.4, it is the SDK invocation 2.4.1 builds on; the choice between Converse and InvokeModel stays in the Bite.
