What to practise

Use RetrieveAndGenerate for managed retrieval-augmented generation and Retrieve to build a question-answering application. Test query reformulation, then build and evaluate an application with the RAG Assessment (RAGAS) framework. Observe the evaluation results alongside the answers.

How it fits

Focus on 1.5.6’s retrieval-generation boundary and 1.5.9’s query transformation work. Use the query reformulation test to connect that second topic to an actual Knowledge Bases application.
