AWSAWS Certified Generative AI Developer - Professional2026-102.2 Implement model deployment strategies

Deploy and Scale Containerized Applications with AWS Fargate

Completed by opening the official lab

Why it matters

Fargate is one of the container operating models 2.2.6 asks you to weigh against SageMaker AI hosting, and the scaling behavior it exposes is what 4.2.5 plans FM capacity around.

What to practise

Deploy a containerized application to Fargate behind a load balancer and scale it. Watch what the platform manages for you — placement, scaling, the underlying hosts — and what still needs your own configuration.

How it fits

This lab is general container-hosting background, not a GenAI-specific workflow. For 2.2.6, weigh the operational responsibilities you kept against SageMaker AI’s managed surface. For 4.2.5, treat the scaling policy you configured as the general-infrastructure half of throughput planning — bounding concurrency against model quotas is the GenAI-specific half the lab does not cover.
