Why it matters

Deployment binds agent logic to runtime identity, scaling, state, tools, and an application-facing endpoint. The challenge exposes those concerns together rather than as isolated services.

What to practise

Author a root agent and subagents, attach search and function tools, use session state, deploy to Agent Runtime, and query the deployed agent.

How it fits

Use the challenge to test subsection 4.2’s runtime-selection and production trade-offs under one end-to-end workload. Record which concerns the managed runtime owns and which remain yours.
